Amy Erica Smith
Candidate for the Ames School Board
Hi! I’m so glad you stopped by this website. I’m Amy Erica Smith, and I’m running for the Ames Community School Board. As a mom of two boys in the district, I’m proud of our local kids and our dedicated teachers and staff. I also know that our local schools are facing many challenges now and in the coming years.
Working together as a community, we can make the district a place where all our community’s kids are safe, learn, and thrive.
I hope you’ll take a moment to learn more about me, about the campaign’s values, and about how to get involved. This website will be regularly updated with news and events, so be sure to stop back from time to time.
I very much hope to get to meet you in the coming months! If you’d like to reach out, I’d love to hear from you at VoteAmyErica@gmail.com, or just use the Contact page.

Amy Erica is an engaged and engaging parent, eager to help ensure each student in the Ames School System gets an education that allows each one to reach their potentials. Her leadership in our church is an example of how she listens to concerns, works with others to find solutions to those concerns, and monitors the impact of those solutions. She will be an asset to the school board and our children.
